MINA Parents
At the MINA Charter School of Lee County, we view the education of our scholars as a collaborations between our teachers & staff and our students’ parents & guardians. We all have an important role to play in the growth of our children.
As part of our collaborative effort, MINA supports the activities and contributions of our parents organization. We value the role it plays in providing feedback to the administration and in working closely with their children and the overall student population.
If you have a child who is currently attending MINA, we strongly encourage your participation in our parents organization. Please plan to attend our monthly meetings and participate actively in the group’s work, so that we all may benefit from your contributions.
Advance notice of upcoming meetings is provided on the MINA website and in our social media posts.
Parent Spotlight
As one small way of showing our appreciation for the efforts of our parents, MINA Charter School — our teachers and classrooms — spotlight our parents on a regular basis throughout the year. We value their dedication and love to honor the important role they play in the growth of our school.
Meeting Archives
In the interest of full transparency, we attempt to provide documentation of the meetings we hold, so that individuals who are unable to attend in person (or via video conference) have the opportunity to stay in touch with the work of the organization.
