I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Applied Chinese and a Master’s Degree in teaching Chinese as a Second Language. I have worked as a Chinese teacher in five different University language centers. I also taught in elementary school for around two years. I teach students of all ages, including preschoolers, K-12, and adult students.

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I am very involved in my student’s lives and take a “whole life” approach to my classes. I try to make learning fun and personal and invest a great deal of time into each lesson. I like using games, crafts, and media to keep students interested and engaged in the class. I believe students can acquire the the knowledge from “playing” and quickly understand the knowledge from the context of the activities. I am always experimenting and finding out what is best for my students. Above all, I try to create a Loving Classroom.
