I have a BA in Art Education from North Carolina Central University. I taught for 3 years in Harnett County Schools and the last 17 years at Deep River Elementary School in Sanford.

MY EXPECTATIONS FOR MY CLASSROOM THIS YEAR

My goal is for each student to grow socially and emotionally through creating art from different regions around the globe, and develop and grow as an artist.

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I want every student to feel comfortable about themselves in producing art. Every child can create art at their own pace and skill level. Art is what you can visualize, then create.

MY HOBBIES, INTERESTS & THINGS I DO OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL

I love to bowl and to take evening walks around my neighborhood.
