I have a Bachelors Degree from North Carolina Central University, a Masters from North Carolina A&T University and am a doctoral candidate at Walden University.

MY EXPECTATIONS FOR MY CLASSROOM THIS YEAR

• Students will learn how to successfully maneuver in our Google Classroom.
• Students will be engaged and enthusiastic about our Great Minds curriculum.
• Our students will grow emotionally and intellectually!

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I believe learning looks differently for each child, however, I firmly believe that every child can learn. Education is my passion and I love assisting children in their quest to become life long learners!!  I believe that every child should be provided the opportunity to learn in a positive and safe environment. I believe that mistakes are our greatest learning opportunities, so don’t be afraid to make them!

MY HOBBIES, INTERESTS & THINGS I DO OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL

I have been married for 27 years and we have six daughters, three grandchildren, and two fur babies, Lillian and Sugar. I also enjoy collecting snowmen.
